Sounds lovely but the buttons are terrible
The iMT1 has surprisingly decent sound output considering it only has four 1" speakers behind its grille. It works as advertised. However Altec Lansing went for style over substance with the volume buttons which are a rubber "+" and "-" symbol on the unit's top. They take an extraordinary amount of pressure to work and there is NO indicator as to where the volume is set. What's wrong with a simple dial marked 0-10? You're better off setting them to "halfway" if you can figure out where that is and then using the Treo's own volume rockers the rest of the time. The iMT1 looks pretty and sounds excellent but those volume buttons are simply terrible. The "Aux-in" cable supplied with the unit is also ridiculously short
